Problem Statement
A well funded startup company approached us to set up their Engineering Unit over a period of 6 months.
TQ-P Approach
Setting and Scaling up has been our strength so this was a challenging yet played game. We worked with basic skills sets mapping and structuring. The company was ready to give permanent WFH so that gave is a bigger ground to play. We built a Talent Strategy and presented the client to build a regionally diverse team which will be more cost effective. We did our research and came up with the suggestions of the cities/towns/colleges we should target for our hiring along with the milestones.
Apart from job portals, we actively used communities, references, weekend drives to meet many potential candidates. We have also been unconventional in our evaluation process as we wanted the best to join the team and kept only one interview at the end. We used different types of technical assessment to understand the technical debt and attitude of the candidate.
We are just 2 months into the project and we have more than 50% of our positions covered of our out-of the box thinking, talent strategy and high speed executive power.
