    Problem Statement

    A mid-size services IT company approached us to build a team of 20 people of Snowflake Developers and Testers. The ramp up needed to be completed in 8 weeks. The associates needed to be locally available and working from office.

    Snowflake is a skill which very recently has gained popularity and the skilled talent pool is limited. After we source, screen , three rounds of interview, offer and conversion; the pool becomes further small to ramp up in 4 weeks. So definitely only job portals won't be sufficient to match the need. We needed to think out of the box to build the team with highly skilled Snowflake resources.
    Apart from using the portals, we applied community approach where we tapped from various online and offline Snowflake communities. This allowed us to not only approach the active job seekers but even the passive job seekers. We were able to ramp up the team by 50% in 4 weeks and completed our commitment of 20 Snowflakes resources in 8 weeks on time and quality.
